Getting Started - Quick Start

I just joined the program and am going through the wealth of information and it is just a bit overwhelming.  I would really like a simple guidelines page that summarizes the program.  For instance, what foods to avoid, exercise guidelines, etc.  I notice on the meal plans a lack of raw veggies - it seems like everything is cooked.  I prefer raw, mostly for convenience during the day, but also because I live in Florida and its too darn hot in the summer to always be eating cooked veggies and soups.  Is there someplace that summarizes without pages and pages of reading and trying to put it all together myself?  Granted, I have ADD and hate to spend too much time figuring it out.  And I just want to get started.  I also want to know where the juicing days fit in and how to decide if it is really necessary.  And if alcohol has a place at all in the program.  Stuff like that.

    I will get the calendar fixed asap! Sorry about that. We just moved to a new server. With this program, all whole healthy, organic, foods are in. I focus a lot of colorful vegetables and that plant based eating is always the best approach (even when eating Paleo, 70%+ of the diet should be from plants). The videos will walk you through which food groups are in and out and clear up myths (which fats are best, dairy good/ bad, etc). Under the Recipes & Meal Plans, you'll find a few handouts under the FOOD PLAN banner. The one to focus on (to build your own meals/ food plan) is balance a meal. If you don't want a full meal plan that is step by step, then choose from the recipes and sprinkle these in.

    All whole healthy foods are in, this would be a very long list. I remove gluten, enjoy exposing people to all the other grains out there, suggest sprouting nuts and seeds, etc.

    The videos and pre-program prep will walk you through all of this. All the answers that you are looking for are there.

    Welcome to the program. Thank you for sending me a private message. I didn't get a notice that there was a pending question. The best place to start is the Clean and Lean System page ...look for the access button in the top banner. This walks you through the program step by step. If you want to focus on food first, you'll find full week by week menu plans under the Recipes and Meal Plans link in the main banner. I do recommend starting with cooked vegetables. These are easier to digest. If you want to replace these with raw you can.

    There us also a step by step calendar on the access page, as well as very short, yet informative how to videos walking you through. The juice fasts are included in the calendar...I like to include these two weeks in, if you choose.

    I really appreciate your ADD comment. I am right there with you. That is why this site is and program is a great idea for you. Focus on one video and topic at a time and work on forming this habit, then take your next steps. ..

    • I tried clicking on the step by step calendar and it is completely blank.  I also was looking for a list of foods to include an foods to avoid and could not find them.  I don't like detailed menu plans as I enjoy cooking and being creative
